The Significance of Bereisheit and the Apologist Jew

Beresheit is such a heavy, deep and complex book that it requires not only time and analysis but also a new mindset. The issue of predestination and free will are here and God shows that without the yetzer, free will really cannot exist in the powerful way in which He created it. The actions and failures of Adam and Chava show the dangers of failing to conquer the yetzer and of how subtle and powerful and ever-present it is. Our problem is that we ourselves treat Bereisheit superficially even though there is much work done on it. To me it is clear that this is the beginning of our participating in the remaking of ourselves as vessels for the Holy Spirit. We have not even addressed the subject let alone begun the task. This is one of the major leadership failures, which has generated our history of punishments. 

Keep in mind that our early rabbis were trying to create a religion which would allow Jews to dance at two weddings, i.e., to allow them to participate in Hellenic culture and feel Jewish as well. Instead of beginning the mission of developing the tent of Shem they were the ones who showed us the path to moving into the tent of Yaphet with the stipulation that we check the mezuzahs periodically. This is why I consider rabbinic Judaism avodah zarah. And this existential error is what you and all other rabbis defend with the full strength of the yetzer which created the system. To me a statement from God is Law. No human has authority to substitute or obviate its performance. We think that hundreds of pages of liturgy recited by rote make us holy, especially if we wrinkle our foreheads. Early pagans had liturgies, ceremonies, rituals and encultured habits as well, but they were smarter than we are because they knew a flood was a curse, a fire was a curse, a disease was a curse, a crop failure was a curse, a congenital defect was a curse, a military defeat was a curse,..... We chachamim are smarter because we say that no one can know if the Holocaust was a curse, or some similar legalistic gimmick. Sure you can talk a crowd out of the need to be accountable for a curse which is personal or collective as our leaders have done systematically. But this only removes God's gloves for the next curse. He is stuck with the Law too. He hopes we wake up and comply so that He can release the blessings as any good father would. But the yetzer continues to undermine the Geula. We would rather see our children tortured by enemies and die ourselves in the most horrendous manner than to admit that our leaders are the ones which God has warned would lead us astray. And you and the hundred other rabbis I have spoken with over the past 30 years would rather see the next Holocaust that admit that I just might be right.  I didn't just wake up one fine Shabbat morning and decide to make my life lonely and controversial because I needed a life of controversy to feel alive and busy. God showed me - the eternal truth seeker - the simple truth of our people's suffering. I thought I'd just tell everyone and we'd be home in the new world, but the yetzer is a tricky critter...... Anyway, the apologist Jew, compared to my biblical way of viewing the subject, is a Jew who is worried, doubtful, fearful, etc. To me any Jew who is not the victorious individual or nation to whom the goyim come with subservience is an apologetic Jew. To me a fat Jew whose stomach is more important than his military skills is an idolater. David Hamelech thanked God for training his fingers for war. Our rabbis brainwashed our kids to believe that the Amalekites, whom we will still have to destroy, jumped onto our swords during yetziat mitzrayim and that Moshe was 30 feet tall. 

I was grateful to God for teaching me the truth. Consequently, He keeps teaching me, occasionally, with some special miracles. The nation of Israel will one day learn the truth as well. There is simply no curse without a sin. And there is no horrorific curse without stubborn non-compliance. If we try it God's way, as I have been encouraging in my website, we will experience the Geula Shlema faster than we can remember the reason it took so long. The only reason I am glad to be right is because no other path exists to our salvation. So rather than remain in the dysfunctional Jewish comfort zone with good company for the holidays and Shabbats, and the occasional pogrom or holocaust to snivel about ad nauseum, I choose to insist that you and the rest of our people to learn and adopt what God has taught me. You asked me if it was arrogant to go against all the rabbis and I answered that it was arrogant of them to go against God. I maintain that it is not only arrogant to go against God, but it is suicidal to remain so criminally stubborn. Their way has brought us shmaltz and horrors. I choose God's path of compliance with HIS LAW and the victories, prosperity, peace security, health and eternal life, not to mention the Geula which this will bring. So you and your friends can go your way, but me and mine will go with HaShem. You can apologize for your Jewish ways, my way as I have learned from God's Torah lead to goyim apologizing and serving God and Israel for everyone’s mutual good.

Try not to arrogantly dismiss this. Discuss it with other rabbis intelligently. Make them put down their inclination to feel right so they can become right!  Our children and the whole world is waiting for us.
