The truth is a bitter pill to swallow, but if we don't get it down, we're doomed to suffer from victimhood,
boughts of sterile outrage, feelings of futility and rededications to more fervent prayer and other destractions from genuine
Godly behavior.
The faithful accept as truth that God is just. So how do such terrible things happen to good people
? This is the existential and eternal question the nation of Israel has been asking. However, we never fail to delude
ourselves with lies about our virtue, the injustice of the tragedy and the failure to accept that the tragedy is in fact
a punishment. Rabbis tell us that no one can understand why things happen and we just have to have faith that eveything
is for the best or that what happens is a mystery we cannot fathom. We also answer the question with the insane question,
"Who is to say if something is a punishment ?" All of this is, besides being psychotic, the strategy of non-compliance with
the will of God.
As congregations agonize over the various traumas of life, God watches His inheritance, Israel, His management
team for mankind's awakening to a state in which His blessings are forthcoming; and sees children of various egoistic temperaments
looking for His treasures. One says to go this way, another that way, ad nauseum. Meanwhile the 'Treasure Map' is starring
them and us all in the face, but who's looking at it when hundreds of egos are vying for the congregations' and the world's
attention.
Ladies and gentlemen; children the Torah is our Treasure Map to God's blessings without end - that is, if
we don't spin it like are illustrious rabbis and church fathers did for 2000 years ! If you read it slowly and thoughtfully;
you will undoubtedly find - as I found - that our clerically fabricated religions are idol worship. The difference between
God's law and man's law is striking. We can go to synagogue and church and do all our respective orthodox clerics tell us
to do and still be responsible for not only failing to comply with God, but actually exiling Him from our synagogues and churches
and the rest of our lives. We have shut our Benefactor up in an old age home and forgotten to visit.
God elected Israel to demonstrate how to achieve blessings ( Genesis 26:4 ). And He gave us the mission
of creating the moral and spiritual context for all human endeavors ( Genesis 9:27. Japhet represents those nations who use
their energies in the service of beauty, science, art. Shem represents Israel. ) Since Israel pursued quality of life
choices pretty much the way Japhet has; we can say that Shem has dwelt in the tent of Japhet but has proudly place a
mezzuzah on the tent. In short, God is punishing Israel for failing to perform its mission and as well for having the
arrogance to represent itself as the fulfillment of biblical compliance. The following articles explain this idea.
The equation of Mumbai is simple if we remember that God is just as Joshua did when his forces were
defeated at the battle of Ai and 36 Israeli warriors were killed ( Joshua Chapter 7 ). We can no longer afford to
get all whimped out ( 'ois gevepped', my dear father used to say ) when the remedy for our existential problems is
as simple as Dorothy clicking her heels in the "Wizard of Oz".
The Prophet Hoshea (4:6) reminds us that Israel forgot and rejected God's Law and that God will therefore forget
our children. And the Prophet Amos (3:5-8) reminds us that God Himself takes responsibility for all events.
The unpopular truth, so difficult for our people to swallow is that we maybe good people, but we are not
good Jews ! 1/8th of a day in prayer, with more devoted to prayer on holidays and studies which DO NOT bring us
into compliance with our Divine Torah is not the same as conquering our egos so God's Spirit can work in us as we develop
the genuine moral and spiritual, i.e., Torah based ways of doing everything in which mankind indulges. It is
not the same as joining the army and demonstrating that faith and courage are inseparable. It is not the same as preparing
ourselves so that we are worthy of annihilating Amalek and obliterating his memory from under heaven ( Deuteronomy 25:19 ).
The terrorist attacks, worldwide are perpetrated by Amalek. Israel is commanded to destroy Amalek.
So what does Israel do ? Israel wants Amalek to like the nice Jews. Chabad does beautiful outreach, but they are still responsible
for perpetrating the myth that they are in compliance with the Torah. Love is a force - it makes love, caresses
a baby's cheek, invites guests, but it also eliminates danger !! It doesn't pray in a prolonged whining mode. It does ask
God for victory based on its compliance.
The lion of Judah (Genesis 49:9; Deuteronomy Ch. 33) does not enable terrorists in our midst, does not give
land for peace and does not care what any nation thinks it should do. The lion of Judah doesn't want to be liked by anyone
save God, nor does he want to be popular among the nations. He does set an example so other nations volunteer to
join forces with the IDF in order to destroy Amalek and bring "Eternal Justice" to the planet.
That rabbis, professing faith in God, allow and cooperate with a government which makes Amalek more valuable
than Jews and the rest of decent humanity is a sacrilege and heresy !
Now gird up your loins and start being warriors not worriers. Stop with your eloquent whining to the four
winds for everyone to finally understand the justice of our cause, our military responses and why everyone should like the
Jewish state of victimized schlemiels. It's disgusting ! They DO UNDERSTAND. THEY'RE TRYING TO DESTROY US - IDIOTS. THAT'S
THE OBAMA MESSAGE ! The victory is ours, but this destiny will take forever unless you whining cartoons transform yourselves
into courageous compliers with God's Law. You can do it. It is part of Jewish souls. Just stop preventing yourselves
from manifesting this aspect of God's Spirit in your souls and go out and kick the life out Amalek wherever in God's Creation
he lurks ! And count me in. This is a fight I don't want to miss.
