The state of innocence of our first mother and father, Adam and Eve, allowed them to live in a state of
pure being. They could do no wrong because the innocent natural state of being in which they existed did not have the option
of acting outside the right and natural state. As soon as they acquired the knowledge of good and evil, they lost the
dimension of this innocence and the natural right action which results from it.
They immediately became self - conscious and reacted by making garments of fig leaves. Self - consciousness itself
distracts a person from acting optimally. And learning to focus and concentrate becomes the necessary skill required
to reestablish the undistracted concentration required to do one's best. Professional practitioners of martial arts, atheletes,
practitioners of yogic and other styles of meditation and even business executives, often using bio-feedback monitors; practice
techniques which maximize performance which self-consciousness represses.
As modern man struggles to learn what is right and how to apply this knowledge, many conflicting ideas and facts
compete for his attention and he is mostly led astray by various beliefs, ideas and cultural norms. His goal is to awaken
and become objective and enlightened so that he will do what is right. The philosopher, Gurdjieff said that the awakened act
was a choiceless awareness of what is right at any moment.
The appeal
of religion was that it offered the practitioner the right way. The problem was that all religions with differing laws and
beliefs promised that they had the exclusive knowledge of what was right. Religions and their houses of worship had the masses
coming and going and yet people remain confused and in conflict about what is right. The business of offering the
right path is, however, without question the most lucrative commercial enterprise and stands beside weapons sales, oil sales
and the pharmaceutical trade as the giants of commerce.
Yet,
futile as the search for the right path has proven to be; man is still searching. The '60's song from the Woodstock
concert said the poignant words, "I came upon a child of God"; "We are stardust" and "We got
to get ourselves back to the Garden". Sadly it is the very Woodstock generation which desparately sought the right way
and finally got lost in the liberal deception of moral relativity. These aging baby boomers still want to live forever, but
the underpinning of such eternal life is no longer believed in let alone sought after. And so the Woodstock generation is
another lost generation going from pleasure to pleasure and establishing misconceptions and choosing false leaders as their
guides and their children's guides.
I thank God for not allowing my
soul to fall into the abyss of the endlessly documented myths to which my contemporaries adhere. I have been destined to be
offered the chance to encounter the right path and the fortitude to stay on it. The right path is the one which
leads to the other tree in the Garden of Eden, the Tree of Life. As our intellects developed, we were expanding our ability
to access the Torah which God gave to Moshe and the people of Israel. However, navigating our intellects toward this tree
of life requires more than intellect. In Deuteronomy 29:3 we see some of the prerequisits, i.e., "but the Lord hath not
given you a heart to know, and eyes to see, and ears to hear unto this day." After 2000 years of Christian clergy and
even more years of rabbinic teachings we certainly have the numbers of adherents and even seekers, but we still lack the access
to the right path. Christians have fallen for the pauline ( if there even was such a man as Paul. Perhaps he was simply a
construct inspired by Constantine and his religious cronies. ) doctrine that the Torah cannot provide salvation only
condemnation and that only belief in Jesus' death for our sins and resurrection can provide salvation. This is an
evil mockery of Jesus' life and the Torah on which it was based. Jesus had a perspective on the Torah which he defended
to the end and which Christians would do well and be right to adopt forthwith. Jews fell prey to the rabbinic myth of
an oral torah which, as I have been citing, is full of contradictions to God's own written Torah which Moses gave to Israel
and the family of mankind.
Here's what
the Prophet Isaiah says about eternal life :
"He will swallow up death forever; and
the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces;" 25:8. Thy dead shall live, My dead bodies shall arise
- Awake and sing ye that dwell in the dust - For Thy dew is as the dew of light, And the earth shall bring to life the shades.
26:19. "Hearken unto Me, ye that know righteousness, The people in whose heart is My law; Fear ye not the taunt of men,
... But My favor shall be forever, And My salvation unto all generations." 51:7,8.
Israel made a covenant with death and made lies their refuge ( Isaiah 28:15)
and now danger is crouching at the door. The existential soulution is the same as the aging soulution. "Until
the spirit be poured upon us from on high, And the wilderness become a fruitful field, And the fruitful field be counted
for a forest. Then justice shall dwell in the wilderness, And righteousness shall abide in the fruitful field. And the work
of righteousness shall be peace;" Isaiah 32:15-17.
The
spirit of God in man is the result of righteous compliance with His law. Holiness is the loving and devoted pursuit of fulfilling
God's desires. Holiness restores our state of innocence. The spirit is then all pervasive in our lives. As spiritual -
genuinely spiritual - people we are in a state which rejuvenates our bodies. Spirit, which cannot be destroyed is eternal. This
is how we obtain the life extension all of us are looking for. We must however make are souls more important than
our bodies and lives.
If we do this we will embark
on the path which leads to all of the blessings God has been saving for His faithful, righteous and holy management team which
demonstrates to all of mankind how to obtain blessings. Judaism and Christianity are failures at setting its practitioners
on this path to eternal life. Christianity has even misidentified eternal life as some form of ethereal life in God's
presence, while Judaism changed the words heaven and garden of eden to places where the dead reside. The fact is - this earth
is and always has been the garden of eden. When we return to God, totally, it will also become what it was destined to become
- heaven. And we will be born again, not in the spirit of ignorance and arrogance, but in the true spirit which
transforms us and remakes us in the spiritual image of our Creator.
That's it folks. The choice is yours to make. Give up your lies and the religions spawned by them and take the
opportunity God offers us in Jeremiah 31:30-33 "Behold the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make
a new covenant with the house of Israel...But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel...I
will put My law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it;"
Remember, the easy way is the one which tires us and makes us consider death a well earned rest for the
weary minded and fatigued. If we choose to die to our egos and follow the written Torah as reborn spiritual servants of the
Lord God of Israel, He will bless us forever and we will participate in the greatest adventure of all, i.e., the obliteration
of Amalek, the rebuilding of God's Temple in Jerusalem and the reclamation of the planet as His holy Kingdom.
This new lifestyle will certainly change our stock portfolios but we'll be winners of more abundance than we imagined.
So stick with your Father and don't let go or let your mind wander. Choose the good, choose life ( Deuteronomy 30:19,
20).
