TO WHAT IS GOD SUBORDINATE ?

IS GOD CRUEL

OR IS HE SIMPLY SUBORDINATE TO TRUTH, JUSTICE, LAW & RIGHTEOUSNESS ?

One reader, a young, intelligent rabbi, was taken aback by my assertion that the nation of Israel suffers because of the laws, which contradict divine Torah laws, which were instituted by the various groups of ancient Babylonian and other rabbis. If God is so cruel that He punishes us for their errors so long ago, why do we need such a God ?

My father, may God return him at the time of the resurrection of the dead, felt the same anytime I spoke of the Holocaust. He would start getting angry that God allowed us and especially the children to suffer so horribly.

My father would get too upset to listen and so I was unable to explain what a more patient person allowed me to say. It is virtually impossible to contemplate that a living God would allow the Holocaust, but God warns us against arousing His wrath. A world suffering due to mythological entreaties to gods for sustenance cannot be deprived of the truth about how to secure its inhabitants lives, without punishments directed against God's chosen, messengers who are dedicated and consecrated to teach this truth to the world's people.

God is not cruel. He must suffer the anguish and pains of each and every one of His creatures because he is fully conscious of everything and everyone throughout HIStory. He allows us to suffer punishments because there is simply something even greater than Him. God has subordinated Himself to truth, justice, law and righteousness. And since the world can only become one where men can labor and rest to enjoy the fruits of their labors in peace and security if everyone observes truth, and justice, there must be a consistency between actions and destiny.

The nation of Israel was created to bear witness that righteousness based on truth and justice is the way to secure God’s blessings. If God changed the rules in midstream because His children erred and were being swept away in a storm or Holocaust, no one would understand how to obtain blessing, no one would fear God, and the world would descend into depravity and barbarism. Proof of Torah’s relevance would be lost. If Israel behaves according to truth and justice and goes about its personal, social and civic matters in compliance with God’s laws and Spirit then the world will be able to see this and learn Torah and how to apply its laws and principles and the earth will become the heaven on earth which is God’s intention.

But if Israel does not comply with God’s Torah and in addition, bears false witness to the Creator by acting as if she is truly observing the will of the Creator, the prescribed curses fall into play. The astute observe that Israel has been unfaithful and is therefore being punished according to law. Israel, however has deluded herself and does not realize that she is falsely representing her Maker. God is helpless because He is bound by Law to permit the nation to suffer the consequences of her breach of faith. If He permits the unfolding of events as the Torah warns, then astute observers can see that the Torah is valid and must be observed and the fear of the Lord keeps men from sin. Then those who understand can teach others the inescapable necessity of faithful observance of God’s Torah. This is the irony of our God of Truth who has subordinated all, including His omnipotent Self, to the rule of law !

The Lord God of Israel, Creator, Master and Sustainer of heaven and earth lives according to Torah laws. No religion teaches this ! Therefore no religion represents God. And therefore we are all free to worship God according to His Laws which are found in the Torah of Moses, given to the nation of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai. The fallout from all of mankind returning to our Father in heaven and in the realm of TRUTH will be considerable, but the disaster of continuing to defy Him in this age of dangerous technologies and fanatacism is horrorific.

The Obama regime is clearly out of touch with realistic methods of dealing with the economy. That this president insists on scaring the private sector out of investing is indicative of criminal intent. That he pursues a policy of spending by government to ostensibly stimulate the economy is criminal insanity. The other issues which have occured and remain unaddressed by sane methods are further proof that America is willing to allow the criminally insane to destroy America. But can people be so insane as to allow leftist policies which have an unbroken history of failure, to be recycled in America or is insanity a mere cover-up for the intentions of the leftist progressives or the intentions of the elites who manage the leftists' incrimental insinuation into our institutions ? Surely there are the "useful idiots" who are insane and simply insist that the failed socialist policies might yet have a chance of success. They simply can't bear to admit that they are simply insane people who voted for other insane people. But influencing these poor useful idiots are very evil people who intend to turn America into a powerless, dumbed down people who will be restored to the class of serfs over whom these evil elitists enjoyed exercising their control for centuries. Watch out America !! We are at the crossroads of our nation's survival. The elites have controlled us subtley and profited immensely. Now they feel we are too dumb and too emasculated to resist their design to restore free people to slavery. These elites know that their agenda should meet with a revolution. This is why they have placed so many veils between their intentions and the apparent causes of the financial crisis and the attack on all of our virtuous institutions. These elites fear our veterans, police men and other good citizens who may yet have the dignity, integrity and honor to overthrow their oppressors. However, even if America is too decadent to maintain her heritage of liberty under God; one righteous man, whom God has appointed to govern the one world government which the evil elites are forming, will repair America and the rest of the world. He will restore justice in government. For example, the Federal Reserve Bank and the IRS will be dismantled. Freedom of the press and other media will no longer allow attacks on God or His laws because freedom does not mean freedom to be willfully insane or destructive of the freedom of others to pursue the blessings of God. Welfare and other entitlements will be left to individuals and individual religious institutions. People's representatives will be voluntary, non salaried positions. Merit and virtue will be rewarded. And good people will be allowed to manifest their aptitudes unfettered by politics, the Peter Principle and Gresham's Law. Liberals of course will be seen as either evil or insane and prohibited from jobs in education, media, government, etc. They will be allowed to work as farmers, artisans, builders and other trades where the demands of reality will limit their minds to reality and hopefully be profitable for them and society and also cure them of their illness. Medicine will be good, organic nutrition, activity and cheerful living, free from rapacious taxes and overly demanding legalities. Life will be governed simply, justly; and people will be allowed to enjoy the fruits of their labors. Government will be of the people, by the people and for the people's good. Government will be smaller as brotherhood grows. As people produce again and people purchase locally made products; prosperity, community and happiness will result. Any groups with a history of violent intent, will be considered seditious and removed to a part of the world where their positive performance can be supervised. The Founders of this great nation may just resurrect in time to enjoy the fruits of their Constitutional Republic, rejuvenated by compliance with our Creator's Laws and His governor. To those who truly desire peace and justice. Strive to be righteous (Isaiah 32:17) and prepare for war.

This is the website which I believe can fast track Ya'akov from limping through history, to Israel where God will rule, to Yeshurun when we are finally only righteous and on our way to being the holy nation engaged in our Divinely mandated mission.

Parshat Dvarim has the key to our success and now our survivability. Immediately after Vezot Habrachah (Deuteronomy 33:26-29) we learn that upon attaining the level of Jeshurun, when we are righteous (not with words, but tachlis - in action and in building the "tent of Shem" (Genesis 9:27); i.e., the moral and spiritual context for all human endeavors). Then God will be the Sword of our excellency, the Shield of our help, etc., etc.
