Israel's failure to act according to biblical law when Jerusalem was reconquered pursuant
to the 1967 Six Day War showed not only the Islamic enemies that we were not playing with a full deck, but also our friends.
Taking the lead on our own behalf should not have led to the relinquishing of the Temple Mount to our
Muslem enemies, nor should our leadership have coerced fleeing Arabs to remain in Israel so we could all be friends.
God gave us laws because He knows we need them and the legal requirements following that miraculous victory
called for expulsion of all our enemies, destruction of their shrines and the possessing of their gates. Instead Israel's
leadership did what it has historically always done, i.e., forget God's laws and eagarly invent new protocols which never
do more than set the stage for a national calamity.
The Prophet Isaiah mentions the delight in the fear of the Lord. The Chinese too have a similar concept.
Jews and Christians define their faith by fear of the Lord. From this all else proceeds in order. The Chinese speak of the
arousing thunder as being so frightening that once it is experienced no one is ever afraid again. But the Chinese are
not the Chinese of their great sages and the Jews and Christians are not the faithful servants of their God. neither
to they give honor or even respect to two great rabbis, Moses and Jesus.
