The Messiah, The Hasidim & Israel’s Perry Law
The outcry against the conscription of Israel’s religious students
has obstructed the amazing opportunity offered to the Hasidic community. Let’s look at the blessing conscription offers.
When
Moses led Israel from the Reed Sea and they came to Marah where the water was too bitter to drink (Exodus 15 : 23) God answered
Moses’ supplication to give the people sweet water.
God also told the Israelites that if they obeyed Him and did what was straight
in His eyes, He would spare them from the diseases with which He afflicted the Egyptians, because He is their Healer.
Then
the nation camped at Elim (Exodus 15 : 27) where, similar to the prophetic message in Genesis 9 : 27, the mission of Israel
is enshrined. In Genesis, Noah says that the people of Shem will establish the tent in which Japhet will dwell. The mission
of the future nation of Israel will be to establish the ethical, moral and spiritual context for all human endeavors. This
chosen nation will demonstrate before the entire world that by obeying God’s commandments they are blessed with the
highest imaginable quality of life.
At Elim, the nation is camping at an oasis with 12 springs and 70 dates palms.
The symbolism is well known. The date is the highest order of fruit, because even its shell is edible, sweet and delicious.
70 stands for the 70 nations of the world. The 12 springs of water symbolizes the 12 tribes of Israel. When Israel obeys her
Creator and is straight in God’s eyes; Israel evolves to her highest consciousness which is known as Yeshurun (Deuteronomy
33 : 26 - 29) at which stage of enlightenment God is Israel’s sword and shield and provides the nation with victory.
Upon breaking camp and leaving from Elim, the nation is called, in Hebrew, “Adat bnei Yisrael”. Adat is
generally translated to mean community. However, the word “adat” has its significance based on its root, “ed”
which means witness. Consequently, by being God’s true witnesses, Israel provides the 70 nations with the pure living
waters of the Torah – the knowledge of God’s Covenant. The result of this influence on the nations of the world
is that all of mankind evolves to its highest possible state of consciousness. The fruit of this evolution, symbolized by
the date, is the fruition of the universal, utopian dream shared by all good men throughout history.
The enemy of Israel’s
evolution and the evolution of all of mankind is the influence of evilution posing as evolution. This leads not to utopia,
but to enslavement to appetites and the evil men who serve their baser appetites. In this world, liberty is a distant dream
and men exist as tools for the benefit of egoistic masters. Happiness is a distant dream along with true love and romance,
happiness, health, security and freedom from want.
Israel’s archetypal enemy is Amalek, a nation
which first appeared in the Sinai Desert and attacked the weak, the women, the children and the infirm. God has sworn to war
with Amalek forever and Israel is dedicated to obliterate the memory of Amalek from under heaven.
This enemy surfaces in all periods
and places. In modern times, the technological capability has proven successful in damaging Israel and inflicting such horrors
as strain the imagination. Yet the Holocaust left Israel thriving, but with six million fewer souls.
Today the force of Amalek is
once again targeting Israel from Persia. Together with the Arab nations, Iran is planning the destruction of Israel. And this
prophesied War of Gog and Magog (Ezekiel, Chapter 38) will lead to the defeat of all of Israel’s and hence God’s
enemies.
In this war Israel is threatened with another Holocuast
which is described by the Prophet Zachariah (Zachariah 13 : 8; 12 : 7 – 9).
And now for the Perry Law and Israel’ s
Hasidic community:
The opportunity has now arisen from On High for all of the Torah study to be a witness to God with
ACTION. The men of Israel, from Abraham to Jacob; from Moses and Joshua to Saul and King David from the Maccabees to the modern
Israeli soldier – have been warriors. However, these were not just warriors in the secular sense, but holy warriors
or warrior priests.
It is only in this modern age that Israel’s soldiers have been influenced by the atheism of
some modern 19th Century philosophers. Nevertheless the spirit among the first modern settlers – the halutzim
or pioneers – was such a powerful, pure-hearted and contagious spirit, that vestiges of this spirit remain in the hearts
and minds of the people in their songs and living legends.
The men and women who gave themselves over to the clearing of malarial
swamps; to the clearing of rocky soil, produced a miracle with their sweat and blood and songs, which has made Israel a wonder
in the eyes of the entire world. In a few short decades, Israel became an agricultural, technological, military powerhouse,
while at the same time settling millions of Jews from hundreds of countries with diverse languages and dialects – who
now speak the revived Hebrew language !!!
So let’s imagine that the great rabbis of today seized the opportunity
offered by God with this – currently perceived as infernal - Perry Law by the horns; and harnessed the Yeirat Shamayim,
the fear of God alone, engendered in the hundreds of thousands of Hasidim eligible for the draft. And let’s say that
they wed this fear of God with the spirit of Israel’s secular pioneers and builders. Does any believing Israelite doubt
that God would be forming the Messiah’s holy army of God with which God will defeat all of His and Israel’s enemies
once and for all ???
Wake up O Israel. This is the moment you have prayed and yearned for.
The war is on. Amalek is poised to strike. The Moshiach is behind the curtain and God is preparing His pure souls to be the
soldiers He animates with His Holy Spirit to bring about His Kingdom.
Grab the Perry Law with both hands and be the
fearless soldiers that only Yeirat Shamayim can produce !!! You can do it !! This is what all the study is about. This is
how we are God’s witnesses before our entire people and the entire world.
Do not fail God and yourselves. Let HaShem’s
Holy Spirit animate you in the army and let those other Israelis – whose fathers or grandfathers were Torah students
too, rekindle their holy souls with the example that ONLY YOU CAN DEMONSTRATE !!!
