The following
message is taken from a letter I wrote to congratulate Jennifer Laszlo Mizrahi of TIP, for her worthy performance on the MSNBC
Sunday, 3/11/12 program, "UP" with Chris Hayes.
I congratulate you on your poise, and steady composure
during this morning's show. However, you must realize that your well articulated arguments will never
be met with intellectual honesty by Arabs or liberals. When you stated that Sharon took the step of vacating Gaza in the hope
that peace would ensue, and that the result was rockets fired from there; Mustafa Barghouti retorted with his disingenuous,
but marketable argument. When you asked him what Israel is supposed to do to stop the rockets, he responded by saying that
he was proud of the non-violent tactics and also the ones that are not non-violent. Since it is impossible to have an honest
conversation with anti-Zionists, it is time that we realize the futility of presenting our logical arguments to those who
will transform everything we say into their "legitimate" reason for their jihad. When Maj. Gen'l Shlomo
Gazit confessed that peace is impossible in the near future, he concluded that both sides should strive for an agreement to
live with the status quo. This is unworkable. What he failed to mention is that the PA has joined in a pact with Hamas and
that neither has disavowed their ultimate objective of destroying the Jewish State. His closing statement was impotent
and demonstrated the usual politically correct dimension of how to handle this Gordian Knot.
The rest of the message is for all of us :
The problem is not the
Arabs who morphed - with the help of anti-semitic intellectuals and politicians - into the phony Palestinians. The problem
is with Maj. Gen'l Shlomo Gazit, Yael Dayan, her deceased father Moshe Dayan, Tzipi Livni, et al and the likes of J Street's
Jeremy Ben-Ami. However, their problem has a source which these people do not even understand. And this source has led to
a primary problem which is the initial reason that these people address the Arab-Israel Conflict in a manner which is met
with Arab lies and charades of victimhood, while never eliminating the growing international condemnation of Israel or the
growing number of rockets aimed at us. The source of the problem is that Israel has lost its identity. And the primary problem
is our people's erroneous education regarding our identity and our relationship to the land of Israel. It is our own,
internal Jewish conflict regarding our relationship to our foundation as a people and nation which has affected our identity
as Jews and has generated the hopelessly dysfunctional performance in Israel, in America, on college campuses and at the UN.
One ironic proof of the importance of this primary problem and the potential power of its resolution is the excavation of
the Temple Mount by the Muslim Wakf. The Arabs are determined to remove irrefutable archeological evidence of Israel's
ancestral relationship to the land, all the while strictly secular arguments, including President Obama's, present
Israel as an entity which is justifiable based entirely on the suffering our people endured during a real - or as many now
say - a falsified Holocaust.
Until Israel liberates itself from the politically correct mindset that fights
the Arab Israel war without the use of all of her assets; we will suffer growing terrorism, isolation, anti-Semitism and painful
losses. It is incumbent upon our leaders and those with access to the minds of our people to address this primary problem
with the truth. It is only the truth that will win the war of words in the global arena. With the exception of a few 'voices
in the desert' no serious consideration has been given to the critically strategic and therapeutic facts which may be
encapsulated as follows:
1. Israel is not like any other nation or people on the planet. 2. Israel was founded
as a nation with an ETERNAL Covenant. 3. Israel's Covenant was provided by her Founder, God. 4. Israel's
quality of life in her ancestral homeland was and is a direct result of her people's compliance with the Covenant. 5. Israel does not own the land of Israel, she owns the Covenant which allows us to live in Israel in exchange for compliance.
6. Israel 's purpose was to demonstrate that observing and applying the principles of the Covenant result in an
unsurpassed quality of life. 7. Israel's mission was to create a civilization specifically designed by this Covenant. 8. Israel has NEVER lived up to her purpose or mission. 9. Israel's rabbis have never addressed the actual mission
- ever. 10. Israel's rabbis have created a veritable replacement theology of substitutions for this written Covenant
and this eternally binding and obligatory mission. 11. Israel's horrific exile and tortured history is a direct
result of the consequences of our non-compliance which are enumerated in our Covenant. 12. Israel's modern
day integration into gentile civilization allowed many Jews who were disenchanted with rabbinic Judaism to leave the religion
and transform their identities into secular Jews who no longer believe in God or His Covenant and who think they can live
just fine without it. 13. Israel's resurrection as a modern secular state founded by secular Jews who serve
in the IDF, pay exorbitant taxes and fight and die to preserve the state, led to an internal struggle between religious Jews
practicing rabbinic Judaism and those who do not believe in it and refuse to support, with their blood and labor, the lifestyles
of Jews who refuse to bear arms, refuse to work and do their fair share to support the state; and yet justify this lifestyle
with established, institutionalized rabbinic reasons which allow them to feel superior to the secular Jews because they occupy
themselves with studying the rabbinic texts which justify what the secular Jews consider a parasitic existence. 14. Israel's
true Covenant, the WRITTEN TORAH is logical and easy to observe and should be presented as such to the secular Jews who may
be convinced of its veracity and functionality and begin their compliance with the command to make brotherhood the basis of
all action. 15. The more popular our TRUE COVENANT becomes with our people, the better we will be armed to fight any
form of jihad - intellectual or military.
This short list is the true "road map" for victory, security,
peace, prosperity, happiness and unsurpassed health. It is also the only basis in realty for our survival. With the current
tsunami of hatred and violence coming at us from around the world, we need to remember what really works and that nothing
we have ever done has ever worked. The logical path for smart Jews to take is the only one which claims it can save us, COMPLIANCE
WITH THE COVENANT.
We just need the courage to admit that we are going to FINALLY try to please God and fulfill
our contractual agreement with His Written Torah so that He can fulfill His part of the deal and provide us with the miraculous
victories we need today so we don't suffer another Holocaust. We have nothing and no one to fear, but our own intransigence
and our Creator who has promised to bless us generously with His blessings if we comply, and continue to curse us if we refuse.
We know the results of thousands of years of non-compliance without weapons of mass destruction. A nuclear war is being
prepared and is indicated by our Prophets. I caution anyone who advises us to keep doing what we have done for the last two
thousand years and simply rely upon God's mercy. Israel's credit card has been used before without a balance and the
results have been unspeakable horrors. It is up to the people to liberate themselves from the horrific cycles of vilification,
demonization, persecution and annihilation. Do not expect any rabbi to entertain the possibility that the rabbinic tradition
might be in error or that it is anything less than divine. Do not expect any secular Jew to take the time to discover
that we should have been following the simple written Torah all along. People with means, influence and outreach capability
must take this critical step immediately. If we do not do this; we can expect our suffering to be imminent. We should not
rely on miracles while we remain non-compliant. However we can surely rely on miracles if we become compliant.
