The People of Israel have never faced an existential moment as critical
as the one it faces today. Iran will certainly attempt to destroy Israel. And for the Israeli administration to have acquiesced
to Obama's multiple requests for allowing diplomacy to work is utterly shameful. The people of Israel need leadership
from their own prime minister and not from one of the most rabidly anti-Semitic presidents in American history. Yes, a moment of such nightmarish magnitude is frightening to many of our people,
but those who know our history and destiny must assuage these fears with the unique facts of our special destiny. A Jew must
ultimately stand with his Creator and fear only Him. This existential test is a recurrent phenomenon in our history. Unfortunately
those who rose to the challenge were not the religious or orthodox ones, but those who left the fold to explore life with
courage if not one with their God. This is why we have a State of Israel. God blessed the efforts of our courageous, modern
founders. What remains for such non-religious Israelis to know is that the Written Torah - the only one God gave our people
in the Sinai Desert - is a covenant they would find logical and acceptable. The benefits, i.e., the blessings associated with
compliance with our Torah would bring us into a dimension of blessings which will provide us with victories no one has yet
seen in history. These blessings also include security, prosperity, great health, joy and the long sought after peace for
which our people have longed for centuries. Yes it is logical to fear the condemnation of an anti-Semitic world, but this
world never helped us in the past. The more logical strategy is to allow God to bless us for fearing only HIM.
