Bibi Netanyahu lost the moment of Divine grace he attained a month
before when the US Congress might have chosen him for their President. On Fox News on 7/24/11, he once again became
the Jewish midget/shlemiel evincing the nation's biblical default mode - the grasshopper. Like the brilliant carriage
in the Cinderella story, reality struck at midnight and the Jewish charger became a nauseatingly timid pumpkin.
For 4000 years God has been trying to blow up the balloon that is Israel, but Israel just can't tie the knot.
Like the 70 elders in the Sinai Desert to whom God gave Moses' spirit, Bibi soared and crashed, just as these ancient
elders reached the level of prophecy only for a fleeting moment. Bibi's failure is a classical one. And it is typical
of Israel throughout its failed history of becoming God's holy nation.
The reason Bibi and those
elders more than three millennia before him failed to maintain God's Spirit was that memory was fleeting. In Hebrew
man is "zachar" and zachar means remember. A man is a man because he remembers to comply with his Creator. This
is the revolutionary principle in reinventing oneself into a vessel for God's Spirit. Israel has heretofore been
like a balloon which God inflates. When Israel can finally tie the balloon, i.e., remember, so that the Spirit of
God remains in her corporate body and animates her every endeavor; it will be the beginning of the revolution which transforms
all of mankind into a higher order of humanity.
The military miracle of the 1967 Six Day War transformed the
world's vision of Israel from the grasshopper to the victor, but once again the biblical curse of faint heartedness (Lev.
26:36) restored Israel to its former historical state of victimhood. The Amalekites who would have annihilated every Jew in
Israel were given the Temple Mount, and those fleeing over the Jordan River were returned so they could become an enfranchised, powerful
fifth column demanding their own nation within biblical Israel. And the grace which God shed on His chosen nation was disgraced
by false leaders, just as Bibi disgraced himself, his nation and his God today, before the entire world. Bibi lost his memory
of who he is and he transformed from a man of Israel into a grasshopper.
Perhaps a fast thinking anchor could have
comandeered Bibi's dialectic of defeatism and directed it back to his moment of grace in May when Bibi awed
the world. Perhaps Huckabee, faithful Christian that he was, simply thought that without Jesus' saving grace, the Jewish
PM just didn't have what it takes to tie the knot in the vehicle his God was continually trying to fill with His Holy
Spirit. In anycase, the Jewish moment of grace and power was again transformed into the shameful, cowardly spectical
of the human grasshopper eternally seeking its identity in the eyes of the nations rather than in the God Who formed it to
be His vehicle for manifesting His Kingdom on earth. When will we ever start to remember and become the men in whom God can
trust that His Spirit will remain a force in the world of men? Israel's Kabbalists awe themselves with the Divine philosphy.
They tell us that the highest world is Atzilut, i.e., the world of emanation. But is the world where God exists separate from
mankind really the highest world? Isn't the highest world the world of Action in which man, remembering and animated with
God's Spirit, finally brings his Creator out of the exile and home amongst the world of humanity remembering itself
as vessels of the Spirit of our Creator. This is the marriage of heaven and earth, the marriage of truth and reality,
truth and beauty, of God and Israel. This is the Kingdom of God which can only exist in the world of Action. This is the majesty
of God's intent alive and eternally reflecting this eternal intent or kavanah. The women of Israel who are "nekevah" are hard
wired with God's intent. They too, must awaken and manifest their Divine potential to understand and direct themselves
to participate in the manifesting of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.
