The empire of King Ahasuerus extended from India to Ethiopia. And while the Jews were subjects of Persia and Media,
the king allowed his subjects to bear arms. When the king's minister tricked him into issuing a directive to destroy
the entire Jewish people in his empire; it was this ancient forerunner of the Second Amendment which allowed the Jews
to defend themselves after the king was made aware of this trick by his new Jewish Queen Esther.
